What is the Oneness Experience?
The Oneness Experience, (also known as 'Deeksha') is a transfer of divine energy designed to bring about the state of Oneness and the flowering of the heart in the recipient. It is facilitated, most commonly, through a laying of the hands over the crown of the recipients head. This divine energy has been brought to the world by the grace of Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, founders of the Oneness Movement in India.
The Oneness Experience is invoked through intention and most importantly, gratitude. Each recipient brings to the experience his or her own concepts of God, Source or Spirit, the Divine, be it religious, scientific, spiritual, tribal or cultural. It is not a concept, nor a religion, nor does it promote any dogma.
Benefits of receiving The Oneness Experience
The Oneness Experience permeates and transforms each person in a manner unique to that persons' needs. Each experience is different and there are as many unique experiences as there are people. The Oneness Experience transfers spiritual energy to the neo-cortex of the brain. It initiates a neurobiological change that when completed enables the senses to be free from the interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded by the mind's interpretations, a natural clarity of perception occurs with the accompanying spontaneous feelings of joy, inner calmness and connection to the Oneness in everything.
